About Waysides
Waysides is a small maker brand built around useful objects, curious ideas, and the things we notice along the way.
At its heart, Waysides is about taking something a little ethereal, such as an idea, a feeling, a place, or a half-formed thought, and giving it physical form.
Some ideas begin with a place, a material, or a problem worth solving. Others start as an experiment in the workshop and slowly turn into something worth keeping. Waysides follows those ideas wherever they lead, into notebooks, small objects, collections, field tools, gifts, and things that may not have a name yet.
The work is intentionally small-batch and exploratory. Wood may be laser cut, engraved, sanded, assembled, and finished by hand. Paper goods are designed to be used, carried, written in, and lived with. Materials and processes are chosen for how they feel and function, not simply for how efficiently they can be produced.
There is room here for quiet things.
The Wild & Quiet collection grew from that idea. It is inspired by forests, still water, weathered surfaces, and the small pause that happens when something makes you look a little longer.
